Artist of the Month - August 2018

Terry Newman is a local Black Hills Area artist.  She was born in Deadwood, South Dakota, but has lived most of her life in Rapid City.  Recently retired from teaching, she now has more "creative" time to pursue her artistic interests.  Nature, initially born out of a love for the Black Hills, has influenced many of the ideas for her work.

Watercolor painting is a favorite medium of Newman's, but she has recently been exploring different mediums.
