MakerSpace Monday
Join the maker movement on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month at 3:30 p.m.

Lego Play
Join the Lego fun and meet up with other Lego fans on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 3:30 p.m.

Preschool Story Hour
Preschoolers join Miss Kathy on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. for stories and fun activities.

Toddler Story Time
Toddlers join Miss Leah on Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. for stories and fun activities.

Wii Wednesday
Play Wii games every Wednesday from 3:30-5:30 p.m.


Armchair Travelers Book Club
Armchair Travelers Book Club meets the 1st Thursday of each month at noon in the Lushbough Room.

Wonder Math
Join us for fun math activities and math homework help on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month at 3:30 p.m.

History at High Noon
History at High Noon meets on the 3rd Friday of the month in the Program Room from January through May and in October and November.

Fine Free Saturday
Return your overdue item on Saturday, and we will forgive the fine.

Library Cards
Anyone who resides in Sturgis, Meade County, or the Meade 46-1 School District, or works in Sturgis, is entitled to become a registered borrower of the Sturgis Public Library.

Browse our shelves, place holds, make reading lists, renew books, manage library notices, and more.

eBooks, Audiobooks, & Videos on OverDrive
If you haven't used OverDrive in a while, it's a great time to log in!  We now belong to the Black Hills Library Digital Consortium on OverDrive.  There are currently 16,792 eBooks, 6,505 audiobooks, and 193 streaming videos available to you 24/7.

Free Public Access Computers & Wi-Fi
The library offers free public-access computers and wireless internet access.

Printing, Scanning, Faxing, Copying
The library offers black and white printing for .15 cents per page and color printing for $1 per page.  Faxing is $2 for the first page and $1 for each additional page.  Scanning is free.

Proctoring
The library offers proctoring services for exams.

Notary Public
Notary services are available.  A valid government-issued photo ID is required.

Study Areas
Study areas are available throughout the library.

Meeting Rooms
Meeting rooms are available by reservation.

Computer Help
One-on-one computer help is available by appointment.


Online Resources
The SD State Library offers many free online resources!  Learn a language, access Chilton's, perform ancestry or academic research, take practice exams, play educational games, get ideas for book reports & science fair projects.
