Sturgis Big Read - The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien

Remembering Our Vets & Vietnam

The Sturgis Area Arts Council & the Sturgis Public Library are collaborating with a diverse group of community leaders and veterans to facilitate a series of programs and events on the Vietnam War and veterans that served during it.

The series centers around a novel titled The Things They Carried, by Tim O'Brien, whose own tour of duty in Vietnam served as the inspiration for the book.
