Artist of the Month - December 2015

Using a traditional medium in a modern style, David Harding paints with synthetic oil on canvas to capture the essence of his subject matter. Often painting buffalo and other wildlife, David gains his inspiration by the nature and wildlife around him in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. David paints with heavy emphasis on composition and use of 'negative space' to create strategic focus, draw the viewer in, and make them feel as if they are a part of the painting.
