History at High Noon
 
 


The November 15th History at High Noon program will be presented by DeWayne Hayes.  His program title is "The 60th Anniversary of the Korean War".  DeWayne served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War as an Intelligence Specialist.  He was stationed at Kimpo Air Force Base in Korea as a targets controller for the 67th TAC Recon Group Intelligence.  Hayes was in Korea on July 27th, 1953, when the Armistice was signed to end the three years of war. DeWayne said the Korean Was has often been referred to as "The Forgotten War".
