“Scrooge Night” Book Talk and Signing

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs affiliate—Sturgis Woman’s Literary Club, Sturgis Area Arts Council, and the Sturgis Public Library, invite you to join them on December 16, from 4 - 6 pm at the library as two authors discuss, read, and sign copies of their works.

Margie LaDue wrote Crawl into the Night, the true story of Hugh Glass, to illustrate to younger readers the amazing circumstances Glass overcame when he was mauled by a bear and left for dead.

Tammy Derschan’s book Ghost Mail chronicles stories of pioneer life in the Black Hills, focusing on postal history and the characters involved with it.

Copies of both of these books will be on sale at the Sturgis Public Library. Contact Dorothy Pulscher at 720-5467 with any questions.
