Library Card Sign-Up Month

September is "National Library Card Sign-Up" month, and at Sturgis Library we are planning our 2nd annual library card sign-up event on Sept. 14 from 3:30 - 6:00. We hope to get children (kindergarten and up) and families new to the community to tour the library and register for their first library cards. We have a 'get to know the library' scavenger hunt, refreshments, and give special treats to those who register. This year, we are also revealing the library's new patron cards, and our special guest will be the artist who designed the cards. Last year we issued 27 new cards and had a great time meeting new families.
