Artist of the Month - September 2016
Erica Merchant, Spearfish, is
September's Artist of the Month. Her work has been in regional,
national, and international shows. Erica's work usually employs the
forces tension and compression to create preservations of geological
references. Principles like preservation and nostalgia are given an
archaic body and take memory into a fossilized history.
