Gwen has been interested in art all her life. She painted with acrylics for a number of years and had an opportunity to take classes and try her hand at watercolor. It proved to be very challenging and took some time for her to decide she wanted to pursue it.
Joanne de Luen Nelson
Joanne is a native of New Zealand. She spent many years on a sailing yacht traveling throughout the islands of the South Pacific. Since settling in western South Dakota, she has gained an appreciation of the varied hues of the prairie landscape and strives to incorporate them into her work.
Melissa Wood
Rapid City native Melissa Wood has been experimenting with color and texture since her middle school years. She has been focusing all of her creativity the past seven years working with watercolor. Her nontraditional style is full of unique color combinations with rich texture.
Mary Scull
Born into an artistic family, Mary learned early to see through different eyes and make art out of all of life. Having a natural ability to bring her deep emotional nature to the medium of watercolor, she delicately balances technique and control with spontaneity and creative surprise.

Belinda has the innate ability to capture the emotional essence of her subject with rich movement, contrast, light and color. Viewers are drawn into the heart and soul of her art and are emotionally captivated. Her subjects seem to choose her as she is drawn to the natural beauty in the people and work around her.
