Celebrate National Library Week

National Library Week April 14-20

The 2013 theme for National Library Week is Communities Matter @ your library.

  • Stop by the Sturgis Public Library during the week to find out what resources we have to offer the community.
  • Play the Wii and enjoy some treats on Monday, April 15th, from 3:00-6:00.
  • The library will be hosting a Chamber Mixer on Tuesday, April 16th, from 5:00-7:00. During the mixer, there will be a special preview Book Sale with the best used books available, and everyone attending the mixer will get a free book.
  • The Book Sale will continue on April 17th and 18th in the Program Room at the Library.
  • To celebrate our community, the Library will also have Food for Fines throughout the week.  Pay your fines with nonperishable food items, and all the food will go to the Sturgis Food Pantry.
  • Finishing out National Library Week is the History at High Noon Program on Friday, April 19th.
