Making Sense of the American Civil War

The final scholar-led discussion will take place on November 8th at 7:00 p.m. in the Sturgis Public Library Program Room. Dr. Tennant will be joined by Donovin Sprague, adjunct instructor at Black Hills State University and Oglala Lakota College, to lead a discussion on a publication of the South Dakota Humanities Council and the South Dakota State Library regarding what was happening across the Northern Plains during the Civil War Years.
