Claudia Little Author Talk and Signing

Claudia Little is a Spearfish author of memoirs for children about growing up on a cattle ranch in the South Dakota Badlands. She has written Patches, My Mustang, a story about her first horse; Mudpies, a rhyming book that is a recipe for making mudpies; and Who’s on Guard, a story about backpacking in the Teton Mountains. Although they are written for children, many adults enjoy them, reviving their own childhood memories. All three books are beautifully illustrated by Sharon Grey, once a third grade student of Mrs. Little, who now lives and works in Rapid City.

A book talk and signing will take place in the Sturgis Public Library on Tuesday, May 8 from 4:30-6:30 pm. Refreshments will be provided. The event is sponsored by the Sturgis Area Arts Council and the Sturgis Public Library.
