Summer Reading Program

Start in Your Community

Beginning May 30th and ending July 26th, there will be Summer Reading Logs and story hour programs for toddlers through age 18 years old.
Pick up your Reading Logs at the library starting May 30th.  Keep track of what you are reading this summer or complete various challenges for a chance at prizes!

On June 6th at 10:30 a.m. everyone is invited to help kick off the programs at Old Band Shell near football field
Backstage with a Rodeo Clown
with our own Duane Reichert.

On June 21st at 4:00 p.m., Phil Baker - Children's Performer, will perform at the Sturgis Armory.

On July 11th at 10:00 a.m., the Chamber Music Festival of the Black Hills will present their Musical Story Time at the Sturgis Public Library.

On July 25th, there will be a Party at the Park to end the Children's Summer Reading Program.
